This policy explains what information IamDamsko collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who we are

IamDamsko is an independent Amsterdam travel guide. You can reach us through our contact page for any privacy question, including requests to access or delete data.

Information we collect

• Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.
• Preferences. Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not have to ask again.
• Messages. Our contact form is not yet connected, so no messages are collected or stored at the moment.

Advertising

This site is free to read and is expected to be funded by advertising. Advertising is not currently enabled. If and when third-party advertising such as Google AdSense is switched on, advertising partners may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve and measure adverts. Where consent is required under EU rules, we will ask for it first through our cookie banner, and you will be able to choose non-personalised advertising. Details will be listed in our cookie policy.

Legal basis

We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and any advertising or analytics cookies on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by our hosting provider and, in future, by advertising partners strictly for delivering and measuring adverts.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, and you may complain to your national data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We will update this page whenever our data practices change, and revise the date at the top.
